SECUEYE can use Real Time Streaming Protocol or RTSP to pull a device's stream. Now that you have installed the Blue Iris software, it is time to connect your SECUEYE cameras to the network.
Obtaining the IP Address
The camera must be set up first using the SECUEYE APP before adding it to any additional software. For more information on how to add your device using the SECUEYE APP, please refer to the Quick Start Guide.
You are sure your camera is connected to the home WiFi network correctly, and you have the correct IP address and port for your camera. This information will be needed by Blue Iris.
Note: The camera and the computer you are using must be on the same network during setup.
Adding Your Camera to Blue Iris
Step 1: Open the Blue Iris Software. Right-click on the main interface to display the New camera interface.
Enter a Full name and Short name for the camera. Make sure to also click on the "Enable audio" checkbox to enable audio. Click OK.
Step 2: Open the Network IP camera configuration. Click on the Address drop-down menu and select rtsp://.
Then input the RTSP information: ip/live1, for example, 192.168.1.173/live1. The Blue Iris will get user name and password of camera automatically. Click OK.
Step 3: Review the video setting and click OK.
The ip camera has now been added and visible in Blue Iris software.
